The Warehouse Custodian is responsible for keeping assigned distribution center areas, inside and outside the facility, clean and well maintained.

This is a full-time position. Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.

I-Hybrid

Keep assigned distribution center areas, inside and outside of the facility, clean and well maintained.

• Vacuum, sweep, dust, and mop floors. 
• Clean and stock restrooms. 
• Clean and dust offices and common work areas. 
• Clean and dust distribution center fixtures (shelving units, stairs, ladders, etc.)
• Collect and dispose of trash. 
• Remove recycling materials and dispose of them into proper containers (cardboard, plastic, paper, or banding). 
• Performs other distribution work functions as workload dictates.  

Experience: 

• 1+ years custodial experience in warehousing, shipping, logistics, or manufacturing.is preferred.

Education: 

• High School Diploma, or GED
  

Skills:

• Basic level of clear communication (written & verbal), relationship building, and active listening to follow instructions accurately, interact respectfully with team members, and respond effectively to requests or concerns.
• Proficient in time management, attention to detail, and prioritization to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on schedule and to established standards.
• Proficient in customer service to support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
• Proficient in autonomy to perform custodial responsibilities independently, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness without direct supervision. 

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs with a range from a floor level to above shoulder height walking and standing on concrete floors for a period of up to two hours; pushing and pulling rolling carts or pallet jacks bearing loads of up to 500 pounds; free range of motion including twisting, bending, stooping, including climbing on step ladders.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
• Ability to work overtime, as needed.
